p.2 Oswego, Oct. 18 - barque L.M. Hubby lost off Sleeping Bear, L. Mich.

-Oswego, Oct. 19 - Loss of the Schooner H. Doviel & Cargo - sprang a leak and sank in deep water off Oak Orchard, crew saved; cargo of wheat.

-steam tug Seneca explodes boiler at Chicago, captain killed.

-The Assizes - Shaw vs Flint - for damage sustained from collision between steamer Corra Linn and prop. Moira in July on Bay.

-a letter from Mr. Rees on Bell's Island, talking about new bridge, steam ferry, etc.

-Imports - 19, 20.
