-The propeller Moira, Captain Flint, ran aground, last Wednesday evening, in a snow storm, near the south-west end of Amherst Island, about a mile from the shore, while trying to make the Upper Gap. She is laden with over 200 tons of valuable merchandize; but at the last accounts, the boat and goods had received but little damage. On last Saturday and Sunday, the steamer Trenton was engaged in trying to pull her off, but at last accounts she was still fast.- Near the Moira, a little higher up, two schooners - the Mobile and New World, are beached, laden with salt and coal. All hands saved. - At Wellington, the schooner Metcalfe is beached, with two hundred bushels of grain on board, and a number of bbls. of fish. The boat and load have received but little damage. - It is feared the schooner Phoenix, Captain John Station, is lost, with all hands, as she left Toronto on the 13th instant, and has not been heard of since. She was bound down the lake, and is owned in this county. The hands, 6 besides the captain, also all belonged to the county. [Picton Times 28th inst.
