p.2 Opening of the Welland Canal - St. Catharines, April 5th - As the commercial public feel a vital interest about this time regarding Canal Navigation, we would say, that during the winter everything required to facilitate navigation has been done. Locks, lock gates and bridges have all been over-hauled; and so far as the Canal is concerned and the Lakes, we should say that the 25th of April may be looked to as the period about which business will commence.

Steamer For Lake Huron - On the opening of Navigation, a steamer will be dispatched for Goderich, calling at Port Stanley, Windsor, Sarnia, and Bayfield. For particulars apply to Hooker, Pridham & Co. Kingston, April 7th.
