VESSEL AND CARGO LOST - The Collingwood Enterprize says; - On Wednesday last, the brig Marquette, for Collingwood, from Chicago, Captain Fountain, in a heavy snow storm was driven on the reef at Hope island, and in an hour and a half went down in 26 feet of water. She had on board 20, 000 bushels of corn consigned to Gooderhain & Worts, Toronto - no doubt insured in two offices in Chicago. It is not probable any attempt will be made to raise the vessel this fall. The captain and crew got ashore in their jolly boats and on Monday were brought here in Port's tug.
