p.2 Great Meeting of the Steamboat and Shipping Interest - held at Kingston; present were Calvin, Ferguson, Boyle, Doyle, Delaney, Berry, Bowen, Gildersleeve, C. Hamilton and Capt. Patterson.

Resolved - that Canadian laws are insufficient for protection and interests of owners of vessels;

- that an Association of Ship Owners in Canada be formed.
