-Port Stanley - The Recent Gales - prop. Forest Queen in trouble when she lost her rudder.

-Police Court - stoker on steamer Rowland Hill trying to recover 2 1/2 months wages.

-navigation on Welland Canal stopped by ice, 20 vessels lying at Port Colborne.
