p.2 new twin screw prop. being built by Dr. Russell of 700 tons burthen for Marquette iron trade; prop. B.L. Webb repaired after fire, to be used in iron trade; Dr. Russell is to commence building a small winter ferry boat, to take the place of Windsor, sold to Detroit & Milwaukee R.R.; tug Sprague which blew up on river is on dry dock; 2 vessels are building at Newport for Capt. E.B. Ward. [Detroit Adv.]
