p.2 Ottawa Navigation - steamer Atlas replaced Lady Simpson between Lachine and Carillon; the Lady Simpson to be broken up.

-scow-schooner ashore on North Manitou, 2 vessels ashore in Straits of Mackinaw, brig Champlain ashore at Death's Door. [Buffalo Rep.]

-tug Leviathan is towing a vessel, probably the Huntress. [ibid]

-The Late Gale in Buffalo and Chicago - at Buffalo several schooners and props. broke loose.
