-mate of City of Cleveland strands boat entering Dunkirk, moving Church.

-The Canals - might abolish tolls on all Provincial Canals. [Pilot]

-The Bay State - still ashore at Island.

-The Late Accident on the Steamer Hercules - mate died, was from Garden Island, Kingston.

-Piracy on Canadian Waters - sch. Defiance put up for sale at Port Hope; sheriff, lawyers and justice fight over ownership.

-man lost overboard from schooner Curtiss Mann on Lake Huron.
