-Disaster to the Schooner Ketchum - lost both masts.

-Loss of Sch. Silas Wright - ashore between Barcelona and Dunkirk. [Buffalo Express]

-Ashore - sch. Coleraine on reef opposite Point au Pelee Island. [Detroit Tribune 15th]

-Ashore - 3 schooners at St. Joseph, Michigan. [Chicago Press]
