p.2 steamer Saguenay sold to Archibald Campbell for $1590.

-schooner St. Mary is lost.

-unknown vessel struck 1 mile from Bruce piers, part of crew saved.

-J.G. Scott ashore near Port Burwell; Champion of Oakville bound for Kingston from Port Stanley, nearly swamped off Long Point but made it to Grand River in safety; sch. Antelope sank 1/2 mile off Port Stanley harbor. [London Free Press]
