-prop. Dubuque lost rudder blade off Sodus. [Oswego Times]

-Sad Accident - sail-boat capsized and 2 men drowned.

-preparations underway to raise barque City of Ogdensburgh, using Quebec and William Penn.

-new iron steamboat Montreal launched by Messrs. Bartley and Gilbert for Richelieu Steamboat Co. in Montreal.
