-steamer New York fitting out at Montreal, Northerner will probably go down rapids. [Ogdensburgh Journal]

-steamer Huron damaged by collision with sch. Lochiel in Cornwall canal.

-rates of freight from Hamilton to Montreal by steamer is reduced 5¢ to 35¢ a barrel.
