p.2 Excursion to the Great Eastern - letter of thanks to Capt. John Trowell of steamer Bay of Quinte; gives description of trip down river, passing through rapids, the rudder chain broke but there were 4 men at tiller.

p.3 Died - at Ancaster, on 24th inst., Job Lodor, Esq. in 86th year of his age.
