p.2 The Ice - very bad between Kingston and Wolfe Island.

-Schooner Ashore at the Humber - Gallant Rescue of the Crew - the sch. Pacific after going to Darlington for a load of cord wood, returns to find the Bay covered in ice, is blown ashore; a lifeboat from steamer Zimmerman taken by sleigh to beach; captain and 3 crewmen were rescued; no insurance on vessel.
