-bark S.A. Marsh severely injured in collision. [Detroit Free Press]

-Serious Collision - near Point au Barque; schs. Reciprocity and Gamecock both seriously damaged.

-To Captains of Vessels - dangerous to anchor at upper end of River St. Clair or lower end of Detroit River. [Detroit Free Press]
