-Raising The Canadian - The steamer Canadian, sunk a few years ago at Portsmouth, has been sold by Mr. Gildersleeve to Donaldson & Andrews of Port Dalhousie, who are now engaged in raising her with Messrs. Calvin & Breck's wrecking machine. The principal part of value in the boat is the engine, and this is intended for a new tow boat being built to receive it. We believe there is no doubt she will be raised without much trouble.
