MIDLAND

An impromptu excursion was got up about 1:00 took advantage of the trip on board the Sarah Jane Marshall which has been undergoing repairs, towed by the tug R. B. Hays There was good music for dancing...

The barge Mary Robertson arrived here on Sabbath night with salt and corn. She is now loading lumber at H.H. Cook's wharf the schooner Tecumseth is also loading lumber at the wharf, both are bound for Goderich.
