-the sch. Col. Cook lost part of deck load on Lake Erie in gale. [Os. Times]

-Capt. W.D. Robinson, marine inspector of Home Insurance Company, is at work on City of Madison, sunk in St. Mary's River, using wrecking tug Magnet, 4 steam pumps and 2 sub-marine divers. [Buffalo Com. Adv.]
