-Lying Up For The Season - Chaffey & Bros. barges at Kingston.

-Vessels Gone Into Winter Quarters - a list of vessels laid up.

-The Frank Stewart - broke in two after striking pier at Oswego.

-5000 cords of wood forwarded to Toronto by James Campbell of Ottawa House, by schooner.

-Loss of the Water Witch - prop lost near Saginaw Bay. [Det. Free Press 17th]

-steamers Ontario and Bay State to lie up soon.

-sloop Messenger, recently ashore at Pigeon Bay, gone to pieces.

-sch. Kirk White lost sails and boat near Point au Pelee Passage.

-Imports - 20.
