p.3 K.C. & M. - Navigation on the Upper Lakes - Straits still full of ice on the 21st.

-Notice to Mariners - temporary lighthouse on Green Island.

-Ice Up the Lake - large floating masses at Green Bay. [Chicago Times 18th]

-Lachine Canal to be opened on 25th, but 2 mitre sills in Cornwall Canal have to be repaired. [Montreal Gazette]

-Green Bay - straits at Green Bay still full of ice. [Chicago Journal 19th]

-Port Stanley Marine News - much ice on Lake Erie. [London Free Press]

-An Anchor Found - by Capt. Palmentier of sch. Garibaldi of Sarnia, east of Garden Island.

-Imports - 26.
