-Disaster - sch. Dispatch lost sails twice, laid up at Toronto.

-Schooner In Peril - observed with torn sails. [Spectator]

-Last Boat For Saginaw - Susan Ward left on last trip. [Det. Tribune]

-low water levels - down 4' on Lake Huron from 1861 level.
