p.3 Opening of Navigation - str. Pierrepont made first trip to Wolfe Island.

-New Freight Line to Ottawa - formed in Montreal with capital of $50,000.

-The Merritt - disabled at Halifax, will sail for Montreal immediately on opening of navigation.

-New Steamer - Capt. McAulay purchased the Bonnie Boat to run between Southampton and Port Sarnia.

-Imports - 23,24. (by ice-boat)
