-Steamer Banshee - sold on Friday to a party of Americans, to be taken to N.Y.

-A Refuge for Vessels on Lake Erie - near Long Point Cut. [Det. Free Press]

-Loss of Lake Craft in 1864 - 58 vessels passed out of existence or became total wrecks; 133 lives lost. [Detroit paper]

-Imports - 25.
