-The Timber and Stave trade - a list of 10 vessels discharging at Garden Island.

-Rideau Canal Tolls - new rates according to Order in Council of Apr. 13th.

-Welland Canal Tolls - new rates according to Order in Council.

-Imports - 18.

Launch - The launch of one of E. Berry's ships will take place at 4 o'clock this afternoon at Portsmouth. If the day is favorable, a very fine launch is expected.

-The Empress - left for Montreal, Capt. Dewitt; painted and repaired.

-The Grecian - delayed by gale.

-The American Line - to start on May 8th.

-Marine Items - list of arrivals and departures.

-The Old Line - City of Ottawa, tug Queen of the Isles and Bytown to run between Ottawa and Kingston.

-Welland Canal Open - list of boats which passed through on Monday.

-Navigation On Lake Erie - props. Wisconsin and Granite State arrive at Port Colborne.

-Chicago Harbor - bar removed by freshets. [Chicago Times]
