VESSEL SEIZED - The steam barge Isaac May with her consorts was seized at Byng Inlet on June 26th for debt at the instance of the Georgian Bay Lumber Company. The crew of the seized vessel arrived in Parry Sound by the Magnettawan on Thursday accompanied by Mr. Scott who came to attach the "Severn" another vessel of the "May" line.

PARRY SOUND

The steamer Northern Queen has been engaged by the Meaford Free Masons to take an excursion party from that town to Parry Sound on Monday next June 30th.

A moonlight excursion is planned by the steamer Waubuno for Wednesday next July 2nd. This will be hailed with delight by our residents and is certain to prove remunative. The Eureka Concert Band will be in attendance.
