-The Chicago and Milwaukie Trade - is picking up; lists more arrivals and departures.

-Vessels Passed Detroit - on April 30.

-Vessel Casualties - sch. Morning Light disabled on Lake Michigan, sch. Stampede and Twin Sisters damaged. [Detroit Advertiser]

-The Steamer Magnet - will again be on Saguenay during the summer.
