-The American Express Line - Ontario, Bay State and Cataract now running daily; gives full schedule.

-The St. Clair - left for Montreal on way to Boston, draws light nearly 9'.

-Collision on Lake Erie - prop. Illinois sunk in 15' water after colliding with Dean Richmond near Point Pelee.

-The Steamer Magnet - now on Saguenay. [Quebec Chronicle]

-Opposition to the Corinthian - City of Toronto to run from Rochester to north shore; Rochester will take place of City of Toronto after saloon is added. [Rochester Union]

-Tornado on Lake Huron - damage to barque Lafrinnier, sch. Russian, brig. Ferguson, sch. B.F. Davy and barque American Union.

-Imports - 28,29.
