p.2 Supplement to the Late Collision - Meteor takes fire in St. Mary's Canal. [Leader]

-Marine Items - arrivals and departures.

-Trial Trip - The propeller Her Majesty, of Perry's Railroad Line, which has been lying at Davidson & Doran's Foundry since spring, receiving repairs to her machinery, made a trial trip to Nine Mile Point on Saturday evening, to test her speed and facilities for saving fuel by means of new condensers, which have been added to her engines. The trip was very satisfactory in every respect, her speed being greatly increased, and the amount of firewood saved being very great. We hope to give further particulars tomorrow.

-Port Colborne Harbor - needs to be deepened.

-Vessels Passed Through Welland Canal - Aug. 12.
