p.2 Marine Items - brig. Baltimore on Marine Railway for repairs; sch. J.G. Beard launched from Marine Railway after repairs.

-The Sunken Steamer - barge with equipment leaves for scene; Calvin & Breck's steam pumps to be sent down to Spartan.

-Freights Advancing - barque British Lion getting 14 1/2¢ freight to Kingston from Chicago on wheat.

p.3 For Liverpool - barque Jacques de Molay has cargo of copper from Bruce Mines for Liverpool.

-Marine Disaster - brig. E.W. Cross at anchor off Chicago is struck by sch. Baensch?.

-The Spartan - divers are salvaging passengers' baggage. [Mont. Witness]

-Vessels Passed Through Welland Canal - Aug. 28.

-Imports - 29,30.

-ad for Kingston Regatta 13th Sept. - a list of races, prizes, etc.
