-The Gale on the Lakes - List of Disasters - prop. Marquette sunk at Bar Point; prop. Coldwell, sch. Lucy Anchard, sch. E.S.J. Bemis and prop. Mineral Rock all damaged; sch. Cornwall ashore on North Harbor Reef; sch. Algerine sunk at Port Colborne.

-Imports - 3,4.

-Vessels Passed Through Welland Canal - Nov. 2,3.

-collision between sch. Com. Foote and bark Summer Cloud leaves both damaged near Milwaukee.

-Steamer Corinthian - getting repairs to steam-pipes; temporarily replaced by Hercules.
