-Court of Queen's Bench - Stevenson et Al vs Calvin et Al - over sinking of sch. Rapid.

p.3 Marine Disaster - Loss of a Propeller - prop. Brockville of G. Chaffey & Bros. lost on Lake Michigan, driven ashore near Point Sable, gone to pieces, and 2 drowned.

-Disasters Near Oswego By the Gale - sch. Morning Star ashore 3 miles above; sch. Almira ashore 3 miles below; sch. Edith damaged entering harbor; sch. Marie, brig Mayflower, sch. Knight Templar, tug Tornado, sch. Catherine and sch. Atlantic all damaged.

-The Schooner Sea Gull - will not get back from ocean this year. [Leader]
