MIDLAND

The schooner North Star arrived light. She will load with shingles at Mr. George Chew's mill for Kincardine.

The Minnie Hall is busy towing logs from the North Shore and the prospect of as unusaul busy season at his mill is good.

Mr. W. Holditch of Nipissing village has bought the steamer Minnie Wade from Mr. Joshua Hicks. Of Midland and will take her from here to french River where with other small steamers he will complete a line of boats from Killarney to Lake Nipissing.
