p.3 The Gunboats - Heron and Hercules are on patrol.

-First Passenger steamer for Toronto - Grecian on first trip.

-Opening of Navigation - Milwaukee April 23 - Straits of Mackinaw are now free of ice, prop. Messenger arrived.

-Detroit April 23 - prop. Montgomery arrived at Sarnia from Chicago.

-New Light at Cleveland - for the lighthouse.

-str. Rochester is running on Belleville-Oswego route, to be joined by steamer Bruce.

-Imports - 24.
