p.3 Commerce and Marine - Canadian vessel Sir E.W. Head passed Detroit from Welland Canal.

-sch. Czar ashore at Morgan's Point near Port Colborne, light.

-new steamer Frances Smith launched at Owen Sound.

-The Hercules down river on another cruise.

-Harbor Light House - City Clock being used to guide vessels into harbor.

-Marine Items - str. Osprey damaged cylinder, has new owners; brig. G. W. Langmuir of Picton - a new vessel on first trip.
