p.2 The Outrage On a British Vessel - 22 people arrested at Cleveland for outrage on British schooner Elk.

-Marine Items - inwards, outwards.

-the scow Comet arrived from Ducks with timber and provisions from wrecked raft belonging to Calvin & Breck.

-Imports - 7.

-V.P.T.W.C. - 6.

-sch. Summit, laden with iron ore, sunk on Lake Superior.

-Sweet Home - Capt. Douglas, marine inspector for Western Insurance Co., was on Magnet when it raised the sch. Sweet Home at Rond Eau.

p.3 The Hercules - on cruise to Bay of Quinte and Belleville.
