-New Vessel - Messrs. D. Milloy & Co. of Toronto have purchased a side-wheel steamer, built in Clyde, Scotland; will have to be shortened to get through canal and then reassembled at Kingston - it is called the Chicora.
-Notice To Mariners - at entrance to Chicago harbor there is a spile driven alongside wreck of Nicaragua.
p.3 Accident to the Pierrepont - struck rock entering Wolfe Island Canal.
