p.2 Marine Items - a large fleet of timber vessels arrived, some for Garden Island and some for new Montreal Transportation Company; 6 American vessels from Ogdensburg are taking in stone at Rudd's wharf for Lake Erie; str. J. Greenway is running between Picton and Belleville.

-Annie Campbell, 440 tons, launched from Shickluna's yard.

- Welland Canal opened on Wednesday.

-Arrivals and clearances at Oswego on 16th.

-Imports - 17.

-ad for str. Bay of Quinte, Capt. Frank Comer.

-To Rent - wharf at corner of Queen and Ontario St., known as Gildersleeve's Wharf with about 520 feet of water frontage.
