-at Shickluna's yard - barque Fanny Campbell - 142 x 26 x 11' 5"; he also launched prop. Dominion - 144 x 26 x 13, and ferry boat Prince Edward; at Simpson's Yard -sch. Jane McLeod.

-sch. W.W. Wright ashore last fall now towed into Port Dover; sch. Elk lost man overboard; sch. Erie, oldest on lake, recently wrecked in storm.

-Montreal Transportation Company - applied to Government of Quebec to incorporate under above name to carry on forwarding business.

-ad for str. Rochester, Capt. Dewey, for Oswego.

-ad - Insolvent Act of 1864 - in re James Boyd & Co. - Barque Arabia for sale by auction, capacity 20,000 bushels, rebuilt in 1863 at cost of $16,000, ranks A-2 for 2 years.
