p.2 Marine Items - str. Lord Elgin fitted out at Charlotte for Coteau-Montreal route; str. Cataract in dry-dock at Charlotte getting new heavy braces put in.

-new str. Caroline launched at Montreal for Montreal & Ottawa Nav. Co.

-bark Wm. Sturgess had hole knocked in hull.

-new dry dock at Oswego 160 x 60 x 17, basin blasted into solid rock.

-str. City of Ottawa has completed repairs.

-Port of Kingston - inwards, outwards - 11.

-Imports - 9.
