-Launch at Port Dalhousie - a craft of rather a novel description was launched by Andrews, having the hull of a first class sailing vessel, an engine of 80 h.p. and a screw; named the Dromedary - to carry freight.

-wreck of the steamer Morning Star - attempt to raise it met with delay when the chains broke.

p.3 Marine Items - a marked improvement in grain freights.
