p.3 Capt. Malcomson, of prop. Acadia, Hamilton, is in Ottawa to meet Hon. Minister of Marine, in reference to regulating and equalizing the number of lifeboats and life preservers to correspond to the number of passengers carried by vessels, instead of by tonnage as under the present law.
