- a new lighthouse to be constructed at Oswego.

- A reminiscence of early boating on Lake Ontario has brought to light the fact that the schr. Charity sailed on these waters in 1771.

-Glassford, Jones & Co. - barges rebuilt, new tug to be launched, elevator Sampson, wharf at foot of Barrack St. being rebuilt.
