p.2 Our Marine Note Book - str. Merritt met with series of accidents.

-elevator Orb sunk again in her slip at foot of Earl Street.

- barque Hector on Marine Railway for repairs.

-An attempt is to be made, 'tis reported, to raise the Lady Moulton, lately abandoned and sunk after collision off Long Point. She lies in nearly 200 feet of water, and the venture is doubtful.

-V.P.T.W.C. - 26.

-a sailor was lost overboard from sch. Olive Branch off Long Point.

-Imports - 28,29.

p.3 The Steamers - first boat of Express Line, the Abyssinian, arrived from Toronto.

-Prescott Regatta - Mydia (formerly Lady Macdonald ) left Kingston to enter.
