-Marine Notes - sch. St. Lawrence collided with bark F.B. Gardner; a bark and two schooners are ashore at Whitefish Pt.; sch. Wollin was dismasted by lightning at Holland, Michigan; sch. Phalarope lost main boom on Lake Erie; sch. Lewis Irwin in collision with steam barge M. Croh off Chicago; sch. Delaware ashore at Whitefish Pt.

-Freights at Chicago - rates given to Kingston and Oswego.

-Laid Up - str. City of Ottawa laid up until break in canal is fixed.

-V.P.T.W.C. - 17.

-Imports - 16,17,19.

-Auction Sale - of scow Forwarder, to be sold on 22nd.

p.3 Man Drowned - deck hand lost from Pierrepont at upper landing, Howe Island.

-Ashore - Kingston barque John Breden ashore 10 miles north of Port Washington, towed off by tug Geo. W. Wood of Chicago.
