p.2 Kingston Marine - barque Mary Jane to go on Marine Railway.

-New Boats - Nellie Mitchell, 35 x 5 x 5, 2 H.P. engine, built by Mitchell Bros. of Hamilton; Gladstone, built at Battersea by Mr. E. Beaupre for Fraser & George, classed A-2, 230 tons burden, wire rigging, 100 feet x 24 feet 9" x 9 feet, can carry 11,000 bushels.

-Marine Items - sch. Ellington ran into raft and sank off Toledo.

- in 48 hours 170 vessels arrived at Chicago.

-V.P.T.W.C. - 20.

-Imports - 21.

p.3 Compensation - paid by Canadian Navigation Co. to soldiers who incurred losses in sinking of Grecian.

-Calvin vs Provincial Insurance Co'y - case is dragging on.
