Hiram Calvin is loading lumber at Garden Island to make boxes to float the str. Grecian.

-Ashore - the sch. Arctic (Can.) ashore on Middle Sister, on way from Toledo to Kingston.

-Kingston Regatta - postponed until Sept. 13th.
