-Marine Notes - sch. Minnehaha will be a total loss; bark City of London rebuilt from bottom, at Garden Island; sch. D.O. Dickinson abandoned to underwriters on Strawberry Shoal.

-Marine Accidents - sch. E.B. Allen aground at McDonnell's Cove; sch. Gallatin lost centreboard.

p.3 On a Cruise - gunboat Rescue made a trip around Simcoe Island.

-Sad Loss - one of sailors lost on Kate Bully was from Kingston.
