-Marine Notes - wreck of sch. Maple Leaf sold for $25, ashore at Detroit.

-sch. Glad Tidings ashore at Ducks, threw part of cargo overboard to get off. [Oswego Times]; sch. Algora got off at Kingsville; sch. E.G. Benedict had masts broken; sch. Mary E. Burgoyne lost foremast.

-The Loss of the Barque Waterwitch - off Long Point in 200 feet of water.

-Imports - 28.

p.3 The Avon - pulled off by wrecking steamer Magnet, on way to Presque Isle to be beached again.
