-Loss of the Mary O'Gorman - towed into Oswego with all masts, spars and rigging gone and crew missing.

-The Gales - Additional Disasters - steam barges Henry Howard and Warrington and sch. Warner ashore in Saginaw Bay; on Lake Erie prop. Granite State is on Gull Island Reef; sch. Shook of Chicago ashore opposite Cleveland; sch. Eagle Wing a total loss on Clay Banks; schooners Scotland and E. Robinson ashore; sch. Eveline Bates ashore near Minising, Grand Island.
